Target Family Day in Downtown SF

On Sunday October 18, SFMOMA, the Contemporary Jewish Museum, the Museum of the African Diaspora, Zeum and Yerba Buena Gardens are throwing an all-day free event for families from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sponsored by Target, each museum is offering free admission plus family-oriented events such as take-home art projects, music and puppetry. The Contemporary Jewish Museum will feature their exhibition, “There’s a Mystery There: Sendak on Sendak,” which includes live performances of Sendak’s stories and art projects. Zeum will have kid-friendly activities such as a carousel and create your own music video station.
