Touch Exhibits New Designs

L.A. studio Touch debuts designs from 15 new artists in their exhibit, InDisposed, Wednesday, June 24th at 7 p.m. Touch asked these emerging designers to be green-minded and create products that can be mass-produced but are also eco-friendly. Atema Architecture came up with the “Auto Cannibalistic Table,” made of recycled egg flats, flour paste (to hold it together) and seeds. When watered, the table begins to sprout (pictured). Other interesting innovations include lego shaped take-out boxes and picnic plates that shatter to become wildlife food. The exhibit runs through July 10th.

Touch is located at: 11914 Washington Blvd., L.A., 310-397-3575, do-not-touch.com
